  4. considered that this is their natural or productive order, 
  5. because wood burns to produce fire, the ashes of fire are earth, 
  6. metal is mined from earth, and melts like water. The reverse 
  7. order is considered destructive.

  9. Wood is associated with fertility, creativity and with travel 
  10. (as in boats)

  12. Fire is associated with suddenness and with intelligence and 
  13. beauty.
  14.  
  15. Earth is associated with femininity, solidness and willing 
  16. acceptance. As an occupation: health and education.

  18. Metal is associated with military might, courage, wealth. As an 
  19. occupation: engineering (Wodin).
  20.  
  21. Water is associated with danger. As an occupation, with the 
  22. church.
  23.  
  24. Early in life: Natural talents, inheritance
  25.  
  26. Adolescence: school subjects
  27.  
  28. Kuan Tai: qualifications.

  30. Adulthood: occupation
  31.  
  32. Decline: achievement in life
